The Fenna Foundation was established in honor of Fenna, whose spirit of determination, love, and resilience continues to inspire young women to pursue their dreams through education. Although she was born with severe medical challenges and passed away at the age of 17, she was the epitome of living life to the fullest! Fenna loved everyone she met and left an indelible impression on those who were blessed to know her. The Fenna Foundation honors those with scholarships who, in spite of challenges, finds ways to overcome and shine!

The mission of the Fenna Foundation is to provide college scholarship funds for African American and Latina high school seniors who demonstrate academic achievement, clearly defined goals, leadership, the determination to succeed, and the desire to return to their communities and help others realize their dreams.
